McLean's Gin was founded in January 2017 by Colin & Jessica McLean. Beginning life from the cupboard of their south-Glasgow tenement flat, McLean's were once best known as Scotland's Smallest Gin Producer.
McLean's Gin now operate from their purpose-built "Gin Lab" on the outskirts of Strathaven, South Lanarkshire; producing a range of quirky, colourful and unique spirits, including numerous seasonal and Limited Edition releases (see “Products” for more details).
A true, artisan product; all of the McLean's Gin range is hand-crafted from start to finish; in-house by Head Ginologist Colin McLean; with no corners cut.

Tasting Notes: Rich aniseed, fresh Seville orange, sweet Scottish rose petals and spicy cubeb berries.
Perfect Serve: 1 parts (refrigerated) McLean's Signature, 2 parts Mediterranean tonic, sliced red apple (horizontal cross section), ice.

50ml McLean's Signature
25ml Sugar Syrup
2.5ml Orange Bitters
Stir with ice and serve in an Old Fashioned Glass, garnished with fresh orange peel.
Light-hearted, but serious(ly tasty).
Tasting Notes: Black cherry, sweet marzipan, bitter almond and a pinch of nutmeg.
Perfect Serve: 1 parts McLean's Cherry Bakewell, 2 parts classic Indian tonic, maraschino garnish, ice.

25ml Maraschino Liqueur

1/2 freshly squeezed lime

Our first London Dry gin, released to celebrate our "Paper" anniversary. SGA Bronze Medal winner (High Strength Gin of the Year).
Tasting Notes: Unimaginably smooth for 50% ABV, with lashings of juniper & citrus supported by floral accents, fresh herbs, subtle spice, bitter almond and sweet vanilla.

Shake over ice and strain into a champagne flute. Top with champagne & garnish with a lemon twist.
Summer Seasonal Release.
Tasting Notes: Juicy orange, tart lemon and fresh lime with a savoury finish of rosemary and bay.
Perfect Serve: Serve as a classic G&T over plenty of ice with a slice of your favourite citrus fruit, torn bayleaf or rosemary sprig.
Perfect Cocktail: Blood Orange Negroni
25ml McLean's Citrus
25ml Aperol
25ml Vermouth Rosso
Shake or stir before pouring over ice. Top with Fever-Tree Blood Orange Soda and garnish with an orange slice.
Winter Seasonal Release.
Tasting Notes: Fresh pine, spicy ginger and sweet cinnamon with deep, woody, whisky-like undertones.
Perfect Serve: Serve as a G&G (gin & ginger ale) with a slice of plum or stick of cinnamon, or try in a Hot Gin Punch.

50ml McLean's Spiced
25ml Cinnamon Syrup
1/2 freshly squeezed lime
Stir with ice before topping with Fever-Tree White Grape & Apricot Soda. Garnish with pink peppercorns.

Tasting Notes: Sweet fennel, Scottish rose and tart hibiscus with a gently spiced finish.
Perfect Serve: 1 parts McLean's Floral, 2 parts rose lemonade, fresh lavender sprig, blueberries and ice.

50ml McLean's Floral
25ml Sugar Syrup
25ml Creme de Cassis
1/2 freshly squeezed lemon
Pour ingredients over crushed ice and stir. Garnish with fresh blackberries and - optionally - top with a splash of soda.
Our first liqueur, created exclusively for our local Glassford Beer & Gin Festival with locally sourced botanicals and ingredients.
Tasting Notes: Tart gooseberries, sweet elderflower, juniper, citrus, pine.
Perfect Serve: 25ml The Glesart drizzled over prosecco or champagne, or enjoyed neat over ice.
