GlenWyvis may be a new name, but it's history dates back to the 17th century, where it's origins can be found in the Ferintosh Distillery. Now, through a dramatic evolution where the famous Ben Wyvis Distillery was renamed Ferintosh, and the nearby Glenskiach distillery in Evanton opened and closed it's doors in unison, we have the opportunity to witness a new beginning.

In keeping with the history of Ben Wyvis a modern heating system is installed in our micro distillery, powered by the energy produced from the existing farm renewable technologies, with heat coming from biomass and solar thermal. Water from both the Skiach River and Tulloch Spring make the whisky with a borehole being used as process water.
