The Ribble Valley Gin Co, founded by us (Justine & Luke), producing small batch artisan gin in our distillery based on Longridge, Lancashire.
Our distillery is a stone outhouse, built in 1888 and was originally used as a “piggery”, and with it having so much history and standing for over 130 years, we have kept most of the original features.
We use an 83-litre column still for our gins and vapour infuse our chosen botanicals, producing 50 bottles of gin per batch.
As avid craft gin fans, we wanted to bring something different to the gin market. So, after lots of research, development & most importantly taste testing; we decided to make our signature gin “Little Lane”, launching in February 2019.
Since launching our signature gin, we now have four gins (our seasonal gins & our second signature gin).
All of our gins have been created to reflect the natural beauty of the British countryside, each gin has its own unique character but collectively they have the distinctive Ribble Valley Gin taste, as we use locally sourced spring water from a private estate in the Trough of Bowland, which originally discovered by an English King.
Each label design is carefully thought out; showcasing all the botanicals in the respective gins telling a story, we use a local artist (Laura at Shed On The Fell) for each design making each bottle is its own unique work of art.
