The Folklore Gin Society is a collaboration that owes its existence to Yorkshire. It’s the shared endeavour of Yorkshire creative minds, united by a passion to showcase the best native, seasonal ingredients our region has to offer. Beautifully designed, expertly manufactured and thoughtfully distilled, this gin tells the story of our culture and heritage - and we want to share it with you. Our artisan gin is distilled in Yorkshire, incorporating some of the finest seasonal botanicals. Each and every run creates a small yet perfectly formed batch every time. Full to the brim with botanicals showcasing hand-picked plums, figs and a pinch of northern magic, English coriander seeds and the appropriate amount of juniper are added to create a truly memorable gin. On our first release the bottle is decorated with the Legend of Todmorden Moor. Lady Sybil was the beautiful and wealthy heiress of Bearnshaw Tower. Captivated by the natural beauty of Todmorden Moor, she traded her soul for the gift of witchcraft, allowing her to roam the moors in any form of her choosing. However one All Hallows’ Eve, a chance encounter with local man William Towneley at Thieveley Pike meant nothing at the time to Lady Sybill, William or the local village folk - but little did they know life would ever be the same again.
